Haiku-a-Day

This is Kerrie.

Scott left us too soon, and I am filled with grief. He wanted me to join him in writing a haiku a day, but I considered haiku writing to be more of an unstructured thing...ironic, I know. Anyway, now I'm going to try to keep Scott's Haiku-a-Day Blog going on his behalf.

The first million or so might be sad haiku. But they will be haiku. And, it's a commitment to write at least a little every day, which I need to do as I try to find my center again.

it is a struggle
balancing relationships
on unsteady ground

Indie disappointment

when you're an asshole
admit that you are wrong and
don't do it again

it would be healthy
to try to let sunk costs go
but the wound's still raw

Minimum wage vs living wage

cannot support living wages
does it really work?

Freedom trumps the pursuit of knowledge

why does dodging debts

but not for students
